The developers of The Blackout Society are on the job on a Southwest Park game

Question, the studio behind co-op horror game The Brownout Club, is hiring a lead level designer for a young game "set in the world of South Parking lot." Though the studio apartment includes team members who worked on previous South Park games The Stick of Accuracy and The Fractured But Whole (also as the Bioshock series, Dishonored, and Stealer: Deadly Shadows), it sounds like this next South Park stake won't be another singleplayer RPG.
The occupation description calls for see shipping a multiplayer game, and among the responsibilities mentions the innovation of "levels choc full of aesthetically powerful moments and interesting tactical choices." Having previously made a game that did roughly interesting shove with multiplayer, Question would cost a solid prime for a game that's not fitting South-central Park Battle Royale OR whatever. Fingers cross-town.
A Bloomberg story from last year about the deal Southland Park's creators communicatory with Viacom, worth over $900 million, mentioned several of that money was existence invested in a videogame. However, it also suggested the game would represent developed internally by an in-house studio, thusly unless those plans have changed there may constitute cardinal Southeastern Mungo Park games currently in the works.
That Viacom deal white not alone six more seasons of South Park, but also 14 movies for the streaming armed service Paramount+ that will "expand on the existing world" of South Park. Given that Question's game is described as "set in the world of To the south Park", it English hawthorn well be part of or s kind of expanded 'South Park universe' deal.
Thanks, Eurogamer.
